CICA Executive Director visited League of Arab States

ALMATY. November 23. KAZINFORM /Yekaterina Ionova/ CICA Executive Director, Ambassador Dulat Bakishev visited the headquarter of the League of Arab States (LAS) in Cairo on the invitation of its Secretary General Amre Moussa, the press service of the CICA Secretariat reports.

A meeting with the LAS Secretary General was held. The sides exchanged views on the issues of further strengthening of the interaction. A. Moussa noted that the CICA established by the initiative of the Kazakh President is an effective multilateral structure uniting efforts of Asian state in resolution of current problems. He said that the LAS is ready to cooperate with the CICA in prosperous spheres. The issues of socio-economic cooperation are of special interest for interaction of two regional structures.

D.Bakishev informed the interlocutor on the preparation process to the third summit of the CICA that will be held in 2010 in Turkey.
