CICA Secretariat?s Executive Director, Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister ? Foreign Minister meet

ASTANA. January 7. KAZINFORM Executive Director of the Secretariat of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-building Measures in Asia (CICA) Dulat Bakishev has held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait Muhammad Al-Sabah; Kazinform refers to the Kazakh MFA?s press service.

Within the meeting D.Bakishev presented address of Kazakh Minister of Foreign Affairs Marat Tazhin to the Deputy Prime Minister. The address notes an importance of the Arabic countries participation in the CICA from viewpoint of solution of the Middle East problems through an additional international mechanism. Highly estimating Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev?s initiatives on establishment of peace and harmony in the region and promotion of a process of a dialogue of civilizations, the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister noted a significant role and place of Kazakhstan in the international and regional policy. According to him, Kuwait expresses its interest to the CICA activity and supports the Kazakh efforts on creation of effective mechanism of security ensuring and cooperation development on the Asian continent.
