CIS Executive Committee to consider work of agro-industrial complex in 2010

MINSK. March 3. KAZINFORM /Aituar Mamlin/ A sitting of the intergovernmental council on the issues of the CIS agro-industrial complex will be held in the CIS Executive Committee on March 4.

The council will consider the preliminary results of work of the agro-industrial complex in the CIS member states in 2010 and discuss the situation in the world food market.

In addition, due to the fact that the CIS summit decided to declare 2011 the Year of Food Security in the Commonwealth of Independent States, the meeting will consider a list of relevant events and the issue of holding a scientific-practical conference on strengthening food security.
