Citizen of Kyrgyzstan detained in Zhambyl region with 15 kg of heroin

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A 39-year-old citizen of Kyrgyzstan was detained on the Kordai-Shu road in Zhambyl region on March 31. In his car, the police officers found 16 bricks of heroin totaling 15 kg 240 g, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan informed.

The criminal case has been initiated.

As the detainee told, the Kyrgyzstani citizen was smuggling the narcotics from Bishkek to St. Petersburg.

It helped to prevent distribution of 75 thousand doses of heroin in the streets of the cities of the CIS member states.
