Close cooperation with Germany to benefit future of Kazakhstan - Nazarbayev

BERLIN. February 9. KAZINFORM /Marlan Zhiembay/ Close cooperation with Germany is to be an enormous boon for the future of Kazakhstan. President Nursultan Nazarbayev has said in an interview to journalists in connection with completion of his visit to the Federal Republic of Kazakhstan.  

"I think that it is right that we have paid the first foreign visit to the Federal Republic of Kazakhstan this year. Hence it is the main state of the European Union. Germany is considered to be a powerful state with means for solution of all issues in the crisis of euro in Europe, in the crisis of the economic union," N.Nazarbayev said.

The President noted that over the past years more than USD 8.5 billion was invested in Kazakhstan's economy, a lot of productions are under construction. These projects will promote implementation of the industrial innovative program in our country.

As N.Nazarbayev informed, within this visit there was reached solution on a number of important matters. Today there have been signed 50 commercial documents.

"This means creation of productions in Kazakhstan amounting to more than EURO 4 billion in such spheres as metallurgy, chemistry, transport system, infrastructure, agriculture and construction. We need this all, because it is new technologies. Hence cooperation with this country is very important for the future of Kazakhstan. Germany's leadership, President, Federal Chancellor, ministers, businessmen express great interest in Kazakhstan. We should benefit from this," the President said.
