Cold snap, ice to rain forecast in Kazakhstan's south and southeast Nov 5-7
Kazhydromet national weather service has issued a three-day weather forecast for November 5-7, Kazinform News Agency reports.
According to the met service, with a rapid change of pressure patterns, most parts of Kazakhstan will experience unstable weather with precipitation (rain and snow) in three days coming.
Black ice, low drifting snow and gusting wind, as well as foggy conditions are possible. Heavy precipitation is forecast November 5 in the west, November 6 in the north and November 6-7 in the east, south and southeast.
Only northern and northwestern regions will enjoy no precipitation November 5.
Nighttime temperatures are expected to drop to -3-5°C in the east, south and southeast, and to -8°C in the mountainous districts. In the daytime, the mercury will increase to 0+7°C, and to -2°C in the mountainous districts.
