Cold snap set to grip Kazakhstan this weekend

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazhydromet has issued a cold snap alert for January 11-13, Kazinform reports.

"Cold snap will bring heavy snowfall, gusty western and northwestern winds, blizzard and icy conditions to most regions of Kazakhstan," Kazhydromet said in a statement.

Meteorologists also predict significant fall in temperature on January 13 across Kazakhstan.
