Commemorative medals awarded to veterans, war workers of Pavlodar rgn

PAVLODAR. KAZINFORM - Commemorative medals "70 years of victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941 - 1945" have been awarded to war veterans and home front workers of Pavlodar region, said Deputy Akim of Pavlodar region Askar Bahralinov.

Honor guests of the ceremony were two members of the Great Patriotic War, three former prisoners of concentration camps and 142 home front workers. Members of Children's Organizations "Zhas Kyran" and "Zhas Ulan", winners of regional and international intellectual competitions, marathons and sports competitions welcomed the main guests of the event. Akim of Pavlodar district Nurlan Autalipov has handed commemorative medals to veterans and home front workers on behalf of the President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
