Commission on nonproliferation of weapons of mass destruction holds its session in Astana

ASTANA. October 22. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Kazakh Secretary of State-Minister of Foreign Affairs Kanat Saudabayev has chaired a session of the Commission on nonproliferation of weapons of mass destruction under the Kazakh President in Astana.

"Our President pays very important and constant attention to these issues. Leadership of our President in the sphere of nonproliferation and reducing the nuclear threat is recognized in the world. And today the President continues to make very important contribution to this process", K.Saudabayev emphasized opening the session.

The session participants discussed a wide range of issues of the agenda in the sphere of nonproliferation, international cooperation of the country in this field and implementation of decisions of the last session of the Commission by the state bodies.
