Commission to ascertain extent of damage and take efforts to stabilize situation in Zhanaozen

ASTANA. December 19. KAZINFORM Today Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov signed the Government Regulation on the establishment of a governmental commission for immediate solution of socioeconomic, humanitarian and other problems blown up due to the mass riots in Zhanaozen in Mangystau region.

The commission consists of heads of central and local executive authorities, national companies, the Premier's press service said.

The commission will ascertain the extent of damage and take necessary prompt measures to stabilize situation in Zhanaozen. Head of the commission, 1^st Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Umirzak Shukeyev will report on the results of its activity.
