He made the statement in a news conference in Kazakhstan?s capital city of Astana during his two-day visit which started on Monday, the Mehr News Agency reported. Replacing the dollar with another common currency in regional trade is economically justified, Ahmadinejad said, adding that Iran is now carrying out commercial transactions using other currencies, further adding that Russia made the same decision years ago and thus improved its economic position in the world, Kazinform cites Tehran Times.
