Companies should be more engaged in personnel training – PM
Year 25, declared as the Year of Vocational Professions, will become an important stage in Kazakhstan’s human capital development. Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov said it at the Forum “Adal Azamat. Adal Enbek. Adal Business”, Kazinform News Agency reports.
Vocaitonal professions are believed to be the main productive force and a key element of the country’s stable economic growth.
He highlighted that there should be a closer partnership between vocational education and business.
“We need to boost business’ engagement in personnel training. For this, we need to create a system of students’ training and help in their employment,” said the Prime Minister.
In his words, more than 9,000 Kazakhstani companies are involved in dual education program, while 518 companies are patronizing 410 colleges.
The government plans to develop sectoral educational and production clusters to unite the resources of business and educational system, he said.
Olzhas Bektenov also emphasized the importance of open and prompt state-business interaction to create sustainable economy.
“Our goal is to create the economy which will make businesses feel confident, implement their ideas, expand, develop and invest in the future. Each businessman should be able to reckon on openness and prompt interaction with the government agencies. We realize that amid global challenges and rapid technological progress, we need to develop the mechanisms of business support and actively diversify our economy,” Olzhas Bektenov said.
