Complex of ski jumps «Sunkar» meets all international standards - H. Tielman

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - International complex of ski jumps "Sunkar" meets all the international standards and requirements, FIS Coordinator Horst Tielman said at the press conference in Almaty.

"A new skiing run 7.5 km long has been built at international complex of ski jumps "Sunkar" especially. It became a nice addition to the already present sports facilities of the city, and it meets all the international standards and technical requirements," H. Tielman said. As earlier reported, the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships among juniors and the championship among sports under 23 will be held in Almaty. Over 500 athletes from 36 world countries will participate in the event. 26 athletes will represent Kazakhstan.
