Concept of energy coop of CIS provides for construction of nuclear energy facilities

YALTA.  November 20. KAZINFORM  ./Aigul Tulekbayeva/  The Concept of energy cooperation adopted today within the summit of the CIS Prime Ministers provides for construction of nuclear energy facilities, Executive Secretary of the Commonwealth Sergey Lebedev informed at the briefing.

"First of all this Concept provides for construction of nuclear energy facilities", he said. "Secondly, the document contains such point as joint usage of inter-state electricity transmission lines. Today the Premier of Tajikistan expressed wish to revive uninterrupted supply of electric power from Turkmenistan to Tajikistan through the territory of Uzbekistan", S. Lebedev said.

"The Concept provides for whole number of directions in energy which would promote development of new kinds of energy, new ventures and on the other hand it would promote exploitation of electric power supply lines, simplification of financial calculations for energy supply", the Executive Secretary resumed.
