Conference 'Modernization of Industry of Kazakhstan' held in Astana

ASTANA. March 11. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ The scientific-practical conference 'Modernization of Industry of Kazakhstan' with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev has been held today in Astana.

A. Issekeshev reminded that the Head of State gave a number of instructions at the last Foreign Investors' Council meeting. In particular, they concerned modernization of functioning enterprises and increase of productivity in industry.

The next meeting of the Foreign Investors' Council under the President of Kazakhstan is planned for May 18, 2011.

"We would like to listen to our colleagues, foreign investors, industrial enterprises to represent a fully considered and consolidated opinion that will help increase labor productivity at the Foreign Investors' Council," A. Issekeshev said.
