Conference on human rights held in Astana
ANA/ August 20. KAZINFORM /Ruslan Suleimenov/ International Research Conference "The Issues of Rising of Legal Culture in Modern Society" has taken place today in the National Academic Library of Kazakhstan in Astana.
According to the organizers of the event the conference is held on the eve of the 14th Anniversary of the Kazakh Constitution and dedicated to the Kazakhstan's chairmanship in OSCE in 2010.
The issues of rising of legal culture in modern society, issues of legislation development as well as further strengthening of the institute of human rights were discussed during the conference.
Representatives of international organizations, diplomatic missions, state bodies, civil society, non-governmental organizations and mass media took part in the event.
The conference was organized by the Expert Institute on European Law and Human Rights jointly with the Human Rights Commission under the President.
