ASTANA. December 15. KAZINFORM President of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon congratulated Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev and the people of Kazakhstan on the 20th anniversary of independence.

"Over the past 20 years Kazakhstan has achieved great success under your leadership in its socioeconomic and political development, strengthened its authority in the international arena. I am confident that the friendly and mutually beneficial Tajik-Kazakh relations will further develop for the sake of our countries and nations," the telegram reads.
