Construction of Almaty underground run on schedule – A. Yessimov

ALMATY. October 21. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ The construction of the underground in Almaty is run on schedule. The Mayor of the city Akhmetzhan Yessimov said it testing the rails.

'The construction of stations but 'Baikonur' will be finished by the end of this year. The station 'Baikonur' will be put into operation in the beginning of the next year.

'All the fire safety, alarming equipment will be bought. The Head of the State supported this initiative and additional KZT 10.5 bln would allocated on this purpose. We are planning the date of launching the underground to dedicate to the 20^th anniversary of Independence', A. Yessimov noted.
