Construction of gas-fired thermal station kicks off in Kazakh capital

Construction of another gas-fired thermal station kicked off in the Kazakh capital, Kazinform Agency learnt from the city akimat’s press service.

The new gas-fired thermal station is called to provide with heating the projected housing development areas around the Bagystan residential estate, the international airport, the Prigorodnyi residential community and other.

The new gas-fired thermal station Telman is expected to generate 600 Gcal/h. Its construction is supposed to come to end by the end of 2025.

Construction of the Yugo-Vostok gas-fired thermal station, the first stage of the Turan gas-operated thermal station completed this autumn to generate 700 Gcal/h.
