Construction of new ferry complex in Kuryk port on the Caspian Sea kicks off

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Construction of a ferry complex in Kuryk port on the Caspian Sea has kicked off today in the framework of the new economic policy "Nurly Zhol".

As you know, October 1, 2014 Head of State launched the construction of Borzhakty - Yersai railway. The new line along with the ferry will enhance the transit potential of the country to the west through the ports of the Caspian Sea. The ferry complex in the port of Kuryk is a strategically important object. It should be noted that thanks to the new ferry complex it will be possible to transport goods to neighboring countries without unloading cars, the press service of JSC "KazakhstanTemirZholy NC" reports.
