Construction of shipyard planned to be created in Kazakhstan's Mangystau region

According to Trend, furthermore, as the press-service notes, the project which the Italian "Eni" company presented is the first steps aimed at the development of "Kashagan" field.
"The design-budget documentation will be prepared within nine months. If the project will be adopted by the government, it will contribute to the employment of 1,500 people. In accordance with the plan, six ships will be built annually. When the local experts will gain the necessary knowledge and experience, the company will be headed by Kazakh people," the press-service writes.
At present, some 250 ships were engaged in oil extraction in the sea in Kazakhstan, according to the press-service. In case of discovery of new oil fields, demand for ships can grow twice.
