Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan to expand and strengthen: Nazarbayev congratulates re-elected Tajik President Rahmon

ASTANA. November 7. KAZINFORM President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has sent a telegram of congratulations to his counterpart Emomali Rahmon on the occasion of his re-election as the President of Tajikistan, the president's press service reports.

In his telegram the President of Kazakhstan noted that victory in the presidential elections is a symbol of high trust of the people of Tajikistan in Emomali Rahmon and his course aimed at the preservation of stability and promotion of prosperity in the country. The Head of State expressed confidence that Rahmon's activities at the top government post will contribute to further prosperity of the country.

"I am confident that multi-faceted cooperation between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan based on the traditions of friendship and mutual respect will expand and strengthen for the benefit of our fraternal people," the telegram reads.

In conclusion, Nursultan Nazarbayev wished Emomali Rahmon good health and new success, and to the people of Tajikistan - peace and prosperity.
