COP29 Baku set to host sustainable development leaders' meeting

A key meeting of leaders on climate action and cooperation in the field of sustainable development will take place in Baku on November 13 as part of COP29, Trend reports.

The meeting will be organized by the World Economic Forum's (WEF) Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR).

Expected participants include senior representatives from WEF, government officials, and private sector leaders.

The discussion will focus on strategic cooperation in energy transition, natural resource management, and strengthening climate action.

COP29 is officially starting today in Baku. The event, which will take place from November 11 through 22, will bring together world leaders, politicians, and climate experts to discuss the pressing issues of climate change. Climate finance, emission reduction targets, and global cooperation are on the agenda. It is expected that the results of COP29 will have a significant impact on the formation of the future climate strategy of the planet.
