Council for Legal Policy held regular session

ASTANA. March 2. KAZINFORM Regular session of the Kazakh Council for Legal Policy, chaired by deputy head of the Presidential Administration Talgat Donakov has been held today in Astana, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Administration.

Issues, concerning criminalization of some violations and decriminalization of certain offences, the possibility of expanding the scope of criminal penalties, alternatives to imprisonment, and preventive measures, alternatives to arrest were discussed at the session. Information of the Ministry of Justice and the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan was listened to at the session.
