Council of CIS Foreign Ministers to convene next year in Kazakhstan
The meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of CIS member states took place in Moscow. The Kazakh delegation was led by Deputy Prime Minister – Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu, Kazinform News Agency reports.
Those present held restricted- and expanded-attendance talks. Following the talks the Foreign Ministers of CIS member countries debated and adopted the physical culture and sports cooperation statement and a package of documents. They also shared views on various issues of cooperation within the Commonwealth.
The next sitting of the Council of Foreign Ministers will convene in Kazakhstan on April 11, 2025.
As earlier reported, the meeting of the Council of the CIS Heads of State is set to be held today, October 8, in Moscow.
