Council of CIS heads of governments adopts Concept of cooperation in energy sphere

sp;YALTA. November 20. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ The Council of the CIS heads of governments has adopted the Concept of cooperation in the energy sphere. Chairman of the Executive Committee-Executive Secretary of the CIS Sergei Lebedev has made it public in Yalta.

"It was agreed to discuss and adopt the Concept of cooperation in the energy sphere, and direct the Plan as application to its implementation to additional elaboration", he said at the session of the CIS heads of governments at the enlarged session.

Besides, according to him, the participants discussed joint measures on overcoming consequences of the world financial crisis at the narrow session. "The corresponding plan was approved", S.Lebedev informed.

The Concept is based on conceptual approaches on cooperation in the energy sphere of the CIS member-states.
