Council of Kazakhstan Students created in Belarus
ASTANA. November 16. KAZINFORM Kazakhstani students studying in Belarus have founded their Council which aims at formation of consolidated community of the Kazakh students, the press service of RK Embassy in this country reports.
The Council was created within a meeting of Kazakh Ambassador Anatoly Smirnov with the students.
The Council plans to organize various events in Belarus devoted to popularization of the Kazakh culture, national traditions and rituals which will help in patriotism upbringing.
In this view, the students asked the Embassy to provide assistance in purchase of national instruments and costumes, books by Kazakhstani writers and films about Kazakhstan.
In the course of the meeting the Kazakh diplomat told about socio-economic development of the country and most important events in internal policy.
About 300 Kazakh students are studying in Belarus to date.
