Viktor Orbán said the last time Hungarian officials visited Kazakhstan was before the COVID-19 pandemic.

Unfortunately, COVID interrupted our fruitful cooperation. We came here for it to gain the pace again. We have close contacts with you in this region, which is proved by the history. We are pleased to see your achievements, said Orbán.

When everything goes well with relatives, it’s good for us too. It's good when the whole family is happy. You are here in the east, and we are in the west. It is not always easy to understand the West from the East and to understand the East from the West. But here there is always an opportunity to look at the world together, he said.

We are living in an unstable period in terms of security. It is very important to discuss these issues with friends and fraternal nations. Not only economic issues, but also those related to security, he added.
