Crisis management ensures survival ? Azerbaijan analyst comments on Kazakh President?s Message
BAKU. May 6. KAZINFORM /Arnur Mukhametkarim/ Two months have passed since President Nursultan Nazarbayev addressed the nation with his annual Message. Amid the economic cataclysm foreign experts keep studying Kazakhstan?s experience in combating the consequences of the financial crisis.

In particular, political scientists and economists of Azerbaijan have scrutinized the Kazakh President?s anti-crisis program Through Crisis to Renovation and Prosperity and Rashad Rzakuliyev, well-known political scientist, President of the Fund of Social Studies and member of expert council of RIA Novosti Agency commented on the President?s Address in an interview to Kazinform.
- The economic crisis that has affected wide spaces of the civilized world has brought many countries to the brink of collapse and negatively impacted in fact every ordinary person living in these countries. The crisis has spent its force, let us say, but its temporal and spatial forecast is unpromising. The point at issue is, probably, several years of slowdown and decline on vast territories. Along with the financial crisis the world is experiencing, to my mind, not less significant crisis trends. These are socio-humanitarian crisis, crisis of international law and security crisis.
Indeed the first decades of the XXI century were marked by the beginning of a new ?military? epoch ? wars against mass terrorism, the epoch of collapse of powerful empires, the epoch of review of the international law and economic cooperation. I believe the national states have become a milestone on the way of certain trans-national political-financial powers striving for world domination under the idea of globalism. All these events of the last decade have become something like a test for the new world countries.
Undoubtedly, CIS countries will have to pass this storm of difficulties. The most important thing is that our countries and communities understand they would be able to pass this way without significant losses due to the efforts of their strong and authoritative leaders.
It was quite interesting for me to get familiarized with the text of the President?s Address to the Nation as of March 6, 2009, ?Through Crisis to Renovation and Prosperity?.
The Message has become something like a direction for Kazakhstan in severe stormy conditions of the global political and economic space. I know that the document was seriously studied and highly appraised by experts of foreign scientific centers, democratic institutes.
I would like to note two most important points in the Address. The Head of the State expressed an opinion that ?the world financial system and, probably, political administration, will change after this global crisis?. N. Nazarbayev is quite confident that only radical structural changes of the international system will become a pledge of preservation of unity of the political-economic map of the world. Future of the civilized mankind depends on this choice.
One more important viewpoint of N. Nazarbayev was expressed in such phrase ? ?crises occur again and again and our aim is to learn how to manage them? which has become the only formula for countries? survival. Namely solution of this issue will become a key one in an expanded and complex program of mobilization of the new generation - the generation of new force, energy and mentality,
Undoubtedly, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan have similar approaches to the current situation. Our countries are the leaders of the Turkic-speaking world and a constitutional unit of the Islamic and multi-cultural and multi-confessional Eurasian civilization. Both Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan serve as the key elements in inter-continental energy, trade-economic and cultural corridor. The most important thing is that our countries are led by patriarchs of the world policy, bright representatives of a new political ?generation of freedom?, Presidents Nursultan Nazarbayev and Ilham Aliyev. It means that there is confidence that the two brother nations will overcome this crisis period and will reach renovation and prosperity in the context of their civilized mission.
