Crucial to dedicate more efforts to promoting human rights protection - Spanish politician
ASTANA. December 1. KAZINFORM /Maria Peshkova/ Speaking at the OSCE Summit in Astana Manuel Chaves Gonzalez, Third Vice-President of the Spanish Government has called on the organization's participating states to bolster cooperation and tighten interaction with all Mediterranean and Asian states .
He also stressed the importance of greater flexibility regarding coordination of efforts to respond emerging threats, greater capacity to respond crises that come up, both in economic and environmental protection spheres.
According to him, it is needed to build a community of security that is legally binding based on respect of rule of law.
"We should dedicate more efforts to promoting the protection of human rights", Mr. Manuel Chaves Gonzales said.
He also emphasized that Spain suggested all OSCE states abolishing death penalty.
