Crucial to increase credibility in judicial system - Kazakh President

ASTANA. November 18. KAZINFORM. /Kanat Kulshmanov/ "It is necessary to take comprehensive measures to increase level of credibility of the citizens in the judicial system", Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has said at the opening of the V Congress of Judges in Astana today.

According to the Head of the State, it is important to raise professional level of judicial manpower.

"It is needed to develop and introduce high criteria and standards for judges and candidates for the posts of judges including qualification requirements, moral and ethic standards. Civil servants should bear responsibility for their candidates. Thus through his behavior, intelligence and appearance a judge should represent a legality, justice and probity", N. Nazarbayev emphasized.
