CSTO diplomats to make joint statement at OSCE Ministerial Council

The joint statement aims to encourage the reformation of the OSCE with a view to building the indivisible Euro-Atlantic and Eurasian security community from Vancouver to Vladivostok based on coordinated principles, common commitments and goals. "The statement supports the "Helsinki plus 40" process initiated by the Irish Presidency and confirms readiness of the CSTO member states for a constructive dialogue with other OSCE member states to promote indivisible security and stability in the OSCE responsibility zone," Vladimir Zainetdinov said.
The foreign ministers of the CSTO member states also harmonized their positions on the agenda of the OSCE Ministerial Council. The diplomats studied the draft documents to be discussed at the session of the CSTO charter bodies in December 2012.
