MOSCOW. November 10. KAZINFORM Interior ministers of Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member countries will elaborate mechanisms of a joint response to crises similar with inter-ethnic clashes that occurred in Kyrgyzstan this year, Russian Interior Minister Rashid Nurgaliyev said after a meeting with colleagues on Tuesday.

The CSTO Secretariat and the interior ministries of Russia and Kyrgyzstan made reports on stabilization in Kyrgyzstan and crisis management mechanisms.

"The ministers agreed to analyze national laws of CSTO member countries and interaction procedures for developing new mechanisms of rapid response to threats and challenges, in particular, CSTO peacekeepers. The Russian Interior Ministry will make a summary and present it to the CSTO Collective Security Council," Nurgaliyev said.

In addition, the Russian and Kyrgyz interior ministers signed a protocol of interaction in 2011-2012.

The Russian Interior Ministry proposed the drafting of an CSTO agreement, which would dwell on the suppression of organized crime, extremism, terrorism, drug trafficking and human trafficking, Itar-Tass reports.
