CSTO working group on Afghanistan to hold session in Dushanbe
MOSCOW. March 14. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov/ A session of the working group on Afghanistan under the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will be held in Dushanbe on March 16-17. The issues of security provision in Central Asia are planned to be discussed at the meeting.
The participants of the session will address the situation in Afghanistan and development of complex measures aimed at provision of security of the Central Asian states and combating threats and challenges coming from the territory of Afghanistan.
As CSTO spokesman Vladimir Zaynetdinov informed, CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha, Deputy Secretaries of the security councils and representatives of the CSTO Foreign Ministries would take part in the session.
