CU member states can contribute to global food market development: Russia's First Vice PM I.Shuvalov
URALSK. March 1. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ The Customs Union member states can contribute to the global food market development. First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Igor Shuvalov has made it public at the joint session of the Kazakh and Russian agriculture ministries in Uralsk today.
"The Customs Union member states - Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus - are capable of making a great contribution to development of the global food market on grain and meat production. We have great opportunities here, a huge amount of croplands, advanced technologies, a great number of specialists and connecting us historic contacts," I.Shuvalov said.
According to him, the CU member states are able to contribute to the global social stability provision, as long as Russia and Kazakhstan are the world's largest grain suppliers.
