Cultural cooperation between Kazakhstan and Germany rests on principles of mutual trust
The meeting was the result of the productive work conducted in November of the last year in Berlin at the 12th sitting of the Kazakh-German intergovernmental commission on the issues of ethnic German living in Kazakhstan. The sides noted a high level of bilateral relations in the sphere of support of Germans living in Kazakhstan, development of interreligious accord, cultural and humanitarian and social partnership and regarding the issues of sport, education and youth policy. K. Assylov emphasized that thanks to wise policy of Head of State N. Nazarbayev, Kazakhstan works hard on expansion of cultural and social space where intercultural dialogue is an effective instrument of humanitarian cooperation. "2015 is a symbolic year for our country, it is held under the auspices of the year of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan that unites more than 140 ethnicities living in Kazakhstan. The Assembly has the leading role in formation of the interethnic peace and reconciliation in the society of kazkahstan," K. Assylov said. Deputy of the Bundestag Hartmut Koschyk, in turn, expressed his admiration of the work the Kazakhstani state agencies, non-governmental organizations and the other authorized bodies do to form and strengthen peace and mutual understanding between the citizens - representatives of different ethnic groups living in Kazakhstan. He also noted that cultural cooperation between Kazakhstan and Germany was the foundation of bilateral relations between the countries.
