Currency market situation stable: G.Marchenko

ASTANA. February 9. KAZINFORM /Bauyrzhan Mukanov/ ?Situation on the currency market is stable?, Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Grigory Marchenko has said today at the telephone conference of the Kazakh Government, Kazinform reports.

?The currency rates are strengthening. Tenge strengthened on 50 tyin Friday?, G.Marchenko said. ?People started to convert dollars into tenge. There was excess supply of dollars on Friday and today we expect the same situation?, the Head of the Bank said. According to him, the key issue for today are the prices of goods of daily demand.
