Customs Code of Eurasian Economic Union to come into force in Jan 2016 – Goshin

According to him, the development of the Customs Code was started in December 2013 by the working group of the Eurasian Economic Commission, according to the website of Prime Minister.
"I will name new approaches that are already reflected in the draft Customs Code: priority of electronic customs declaration and use of a written declaration only in cases specified by law; possibility of customs operations relating to the registration of declaration and release of goods automatically by information systems of relevant bodies; use of the mechanism of "single window" for customs operations, including those related to the arrival, departure, and customs declaration," Goshin added.
In addition, it is planned to unify customs declaration of goods transported unassembled or disassembled; reduce the time of some of the procedures.
