Cute winter squirrel melts hearts in an adorable video by Almaty photographer
Hunting a squirrel with a camera in winter parks can be challenging, but at the same time, fascinating, especially when such an experience results in an adorable video footage gathering more than 230,000 likes on Instagram just within two days, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The video by Almaty-based photographer Dmitry Dotsenko features a grey, tassel-eared, fluffy squirrel with orange paws and bushy tail playing in snow and eating pine nuts.
“This cute winter squirrel looked into my camera lens with curiosity. And I filmed it playing funny games in the snow and snacking on nuts from her favorite pine cone. A charming video for your New Year's mood,” the author posted.
The photographer shared some details of the filming process in the comments.
According to him, he had to walk across the park for two days searching for a squirrel and it took him four hours to film the animal. The squirrel turned out to be curious and playful. The animal seems to be accustomed to people, as it approached and even touched the camera lens showing no fear, watching very attentively as if asking for food.
