Damage by sites destroyed during Zhanaozen riots estimated at KZT 1.9 bln

ASTANA. December 20. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Damage by sites destroyed during riots in the town of Zhanaozen, Mangistau region, is estimated at KZT 1.9 bln. First Vice Prime Minister Umirzak Shukeyev has announced during a telebridge at the Government's session.

"A preliminary survey of the damaged sites in Zhanaozen was held. There are 41 sites, including 5 facilities of the akimat (administration). We pre-counted, that the amount of damages could reach KZT 1.9 bln," he informs.

In particular, U.Shukeyev informed that five sites of the akimat need KZT 770 mln for restoration, three facilities of KazMunayGas Exploration Production JSC - more than KZT 1 bln, 29 commercial sites, buildings of banks - KZT 250 mln, two dwelling houses - over KZT 3 mln.
