Davis Cup: Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan advance

OSTRAVA. March 9. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan is advancing in Davis Cup competition after beating the Czech Republic.

Kazakhstan, playing in the World Group, defeated the Czech Republic 3-2 March 6 and visits Argentina for the quarter-final July 8-10.

The Kazakhs join Uzbekistan in the quarter-finals. Uzbekistan, playing in Group I, advanced after beating New Zealand March 5 and will play Japan July 8-11 for the second round, Kazinform refers to Central Asia Online.
