Days of Kazakh Economy held in Germany

SSELS. November 4. KAZINFORM /Dimash Syzdykov/ The Days of the Econom of Kazakhstan were held in German cities Halle and Jena, the Kazakh Embassy in Germany reports.

During the held events Kazakh Vice Minister of Industry and New Technologies Albert Rau presented the German businessmen the State Program of Forced Industrial-Innovative Development and wide opportunities for investments and establishment of joint companies opened before the German economy. He told about the measures taken by the Kazakh Government stimulating establishment of new know-how productions.

Welcoming the participants of the event Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office Cornelia Pieper emphasized the importance of the Year of Kazakhstan in Germany-2009 and the Year of Germany in Kazakhstan-2010 for rapprochement of the two states and called for both sides to attract different structures including Chambers Commerce and Industry, development institutes, investment and marketing corporation of Saxony-Anhalt to cooperation.

State Secretary at the Ministry of Economy and Labour of Saxony-Anhalt Detlef Schubert presented such specialized economic sectors of the state as chemical and oil-refining industries, engineering and innovations. He invited the Kazakh manufacturers to active of use existing opportunities for bilateral cooperation.

The Kazakh delegation visited Weimberg Campus Technology Park, biotechnology center and Fraunhofer Center for Sustainable Energy Systems.

During the visit to Jena Bundestag Deputy, member of "Germany-Central Asia" parliamentary group heading the Kazakh-German community Manfred Grund told the Kazakh representatives about the social and economic development of the State of Thuringia and the experience of work with Kazakhstan.

Kazakh Ambassador to Germany Nurlan Onzhanov told the audience about the topical aspects of the Kazakh-German partnership and called to activate the trade-economic cooperation.

The Kazakh delegation has also visited "Carl Seiss AG" company in Jena, which is one of the leaders of the German instrument-making industry.
