Days of Kazakhstan's Cinema come to Russia

According to the Ministry of Culture of the Astrakhan Region (Russia), the delegation is expected to meet with Russian moviegoers and the most popular Kazakh films are to be screened within this week.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Vovnyanko noted that after collapse of the Soviet Union that was the first big cinematographic event that is aimed at rapprochement of the peoples of Russia and Kazakhstan and establishment of a constructive dialogue of cultures between the two nations.
"We have already held the Days of Kazakhstan's Cinematography in Omsk, Novosibirsk, Barnaul and have been cordially received everywhere. We see that our cinematography is still of interest to Russian movie enthusiasts. This time we've brought enthralling films, including "Shal" made by director Y. Tursunov that won big at the Anapa International Film Festival.
Igor Vovnyanko also talked about cinematography in Kazakhstan, where 15-20 films are made annually, the problems and obstacles the cinematographers face and shared future plans of the Kazakh film industry with the audience.
