DBK to finance only the projects included in Industrialization Map - G. Iskaliyev

Despite the crisis the Bank has raised its activeness and by the end 2009 its loan portfolio will make USD 2.1 bln. Next year we plan to accommodate new credits to the amount of USD 1.4 bln. By the end of 2010 the credit portfolio of the Bank is expected to make USD 2.8 bln", Iskaliyev said.
According to him, the average financing rate of the DBK is 4-5% lower than in other second-tier banks. The term of crediting is around 11 years in average. The credit portfolio of the DBK targets on production sector (100%) while other banks envisage only 18% to this sphere.
The Bank finances primarily large infrastructure projects. The minimum sum of loan is USD 5 mln. 75 new and modernized projects have been put into commission since 2001 by the Bank and its subsidiary organization "DBK-Leasing" JSC. 19 investment projects are to be put into operation next year.
