Member of the Senators’ Council under the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament, statesman and military figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan, army general Mukhtar ALTYNBAYEV was born in 1945 in Karaganda. He is a graduate of the Armavir higher military college and the Zhukov military academy. He dedicated most of his career to military service in the Kazakh SSR and Kazakh armies rising through the ranks to command the air defense forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He was the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan between 2001 and 2007 and senator between 2010 and 2017. He was appointed to his recent post in September 2019.
Soviet and Kazakhstani sports journalist, writer, honored coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nessip ZHUNISSBAYEV was born in 1950. Throughout his career he worked for Lenin zhas newspaper. He also was the editor-in-chief of SPORT & KS magazine between 1991 and 2014. He was the founder of the Kazakhstan Sports Press Association that he headed until 2013. He is a member of the Kazakhstan Journalists Union, International Sports Press Association. He was the first representative of Kazakhstan in the Asian Sports Press Union.
President of JSC “Military and Strategic Research Center” Askhat RYSSPAYEV was born in 1960 in Omsk, Russia. He graduated from the Almaty higher command college, the Military academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Defense University. He served in the Armed Forces of the Kazakh SSR and the Republic of Kazakhstan between 1978 and 2021.
Director of the President’s Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan TEMIRBOLAT was born in 1972. He is a graduate of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. During his career he worked for the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (KazISS), the President’s Executive Office, the Secretariat of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Chancery of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
