Deep freeze heading to Kazakhstan

No precipitation and cold snap are forecast for most parts of Kazakhstan in three upcoming days, Kazinform News Agency reports.

Majority of regions in the country will be gripped by frosts on December 7-9 with the approach of the northwestern anticyclone. Precipitation will persist only in the east and south of Kazakhstan.

Nighttime temperature will dip as low as -10, -20°C in west and -28, -38°C in the northwest and north and -42°C in the far north of Kazakhstan. Mercury will plunge to -5, -13°C in southern Kazakhstan at night.

Foggy and windy conditions are expected in the south.
