Deep freeze to recede in some parts of Kazakhstan

Fair weather without precipitation will persist in most regions of Kazakhstan in three upcoming days. Deep freeze is expected to gradually recede, Kazinform News Agency reports.

According to Kazhydromet, Kazakhstan’s national weather agency, the center of arctic anticyclone will continue to affect eastern Kazakhstan where temperature will continue to dip.

Snowfall will douse western, southern and southeastern Kazakhstan on December 15-16. Stiff wind and blizzard are forecast for the west, south and southeast of the country. Dust storm is in store for western Kazakhstan.

Temperature is set to rise up to -5, -15°C in the west, up to -10, -25°C in the northwest and center. -17, -28°C in the north and -5, -18°C in the south. Mercury will dip as low as -30, -40°C keeping the east of Kazakhstan in deep freeze.
