Defense Minister handed over state awards and jubilee medals to military men

ASTANA. December 14. KAZINFORM The Kazakh Ministry of Defense has held a sitting in honor of the 20th anniversary of the Republic of Kazakhstan; the Department’s press service reports.

In accordance with the President’s Decree Minister Adilbek Dzhaksybekov handed over state awards, jubilee medals and shoulder straps to distinguished military men. “Over 20 years of its development under leadership of President Nursultan Nazarbayev, we were able to strengthen economic, industrial, cultural and defense potential of the country,” the Minister noted. The Minister of Defense congratulated the gathered on awarding state titles on behalf of the President-Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan.
