Defense Minister presented keys of new two-storied buildings to servicemen in Astana

ASTANA. December 11. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakh Minister of Defense Adilbek Dzhaksybekov has presented keys from new two-storied houses located in Ilyinka village to the servicemen of Astana garrison today on the threshold of Independence Day. 

"Today we open a new military camp in Astana. This is a new event in the Armed Forces as far as it is the first military camp established on the initiative of the Kazakh President who made a present to servicemen on the occasion of Independence Day", - A. Dzhaksybekov said.

First Deputy Prime Minister Umirzak Shukeyev, Head of the President's Administration Aslan Mussin, Mayor of Astana city Imangali Tasmagambetov took part in the solemn ceremony.

According to the Kazakh Ministry of Defense the servicemen of Akmola, Almaty, Priozersk, Kapshagay and Sary-Ozek garrisons have received improved housing this year. Next year several hostels will be launched in Astana, Aktau, Semey and Novo-Akhmirovo. The servicemen of Almaty, Aktobe and Karaganda cities will receive housing.
