Defense Minister to visit Karaganda oblast

KARAGANDA. March 20. KAZINFORM/Valentina Yelizarova/ Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan Danial Akhmetov is to visit Karaganda oblast today.

On the eve of Nauryz holiday the Head of the Ministry will hand out keys from new flats to the region?s militaries. According to the press service of the department, 180 militaries will receive new accommodation. As the Minister informed, around 75 thousand sq m of housing have been put into commission last year (or 1 266 flats and rooms in dormitories). In the course of the visit the Minister will acquaint with the housing conditions of militaries and infrastructure of the units. In addition D. Akhmetov will introduce new head of the Defense Department of Karaganda oblast T. Amangeldiyev to the garrison staff.
